# Pricing plans

> Compare Remapdb plans and billing cycles, then choose the right subscription for your website count, quote volume, and API needs.

Use this page to choose the right plan before you change billing. For the full subscribe/change flow, open [Subscribe or change plan](/billing/subscribe-or-change-plan).

## Where to compare plans in the app

1. Click your name at the bottom of the main navigation.
2. Click [**Billing**](https://app.remapdb.com/settings/billing).
3. Click the **Update subscription** button.
4. In the pricing modal, compare plans and use the **Monthly / Yearly** switch.

API access includes API credentials, REST API usage, SDK workflows, and MCP-based AI tool connections through [AI Integrations](/api/ai-integrations).

## What each pricing button means

| Button text                | Meaning                                |
| -------------------------- | -------------------------------------- |
| Current plan               | You are already on this plan and cycle |
| Choose plan                | Start plan-change flow for this plan   |
| Bill yearly / Bill monthly | Keep same plan, change cycle           |
| Downgrade                  | Schedule a move from paid plan to Free |

## How to choose the right plan

Use this decision order:

* Website access limit
* Quote capacity
* API access need
* Quoting and branding controls
* Billing cycle preference (monthly or yearly)

## Monthly or yearly: when to use each

Choose **Monthly** when:

* You are still testing demand or rollout.
* You expect plan changes in the near term.

Choose **Yearly** when:

* Your usage is stable.
* You want one annual payment cycle.

## How plan changes apply

* If your account does not have a subscription yet, Remapdb sends you to Stripe's checkout page.
* If you already have a paid subscription, Remapdb shows a confirmation flow inside the app.
* Higher-cost paid-plan changes apply immediately with proration, and any amount due is charged now.
* Lower-cost paid-plan changes are scheduled for period end.
* Downgrade to Free is scheduled for period end.

## Before you confirm any plan change

* Confirm the selected plan matches your required website count.
* Confirm the selected plan includes API access if you need direct API usage, SDK workflows, or MCP-based AI tools.
* Confirm your payment method is valid.
* Confirm your finance owner approves the charge timing.
* If you already have a scheduled change, click the **Cancel scheduled change** button first.
