# Custom email domain setup information

> Request custom sender-domain setup for quote auto-reply emails and prepare the exact details support needs.

Use this page when you want quote auto-reply emails to be sent from your business email identity instead of the default `remapdb.com` sender domain.

## What this changes

After setup is completed, your customer auto-reply emails can show your business sender identity (for example `quotes@yourdomain.com`) and your sender name.

This makes your emails look more branded and trusted for your customers.

## Where to start in the interface

You can open the same request flow from two places:

* Click the [**Quoting**](https://app.remapdb.com/widget/quoting) item in the main navigation, go to the automation area, then click the **Help me use my domain** button.
* Click the [**Support**](https://app.remapdb.com/support) item in the main navigation, find **Custom auto-reply email domain**, then click the **Request help** button.

Both paths open the same support request form.

## Before you submit

* Make sure auto-reply is already configured in [Set up quoting automation](/widget/quoting/set-up-quoting-automation).
* Decide which business email address you want to use as the sender.
* Decide which sender name customers should see.
* Make sure you can update your DNS records when support sends verification instructions.

## Submit the request

    Click the **Help me use my domain** button in Quoting, or click the **Request help** button in the **Custom auto-reply email domain** support card.

  <Step title="Enter business email address">
    In **Business email address**, enter the mailbox you want to use for auto-replies.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter from name">
    In **From name**, enter the sender name customers should see.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add details (optional)">
    In **Details**, add useful context such as DNS provider, technical contact, and go-live date.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Complete captcha and submit">
    Complete the captcha check, then click the **Request help** button.

## Field requirements

### Business email address

* Required.
* Must be a valid email address format.

### From name

* Required.
* Maximum 120 characters.
* Must not include special header-unsafe characters such as `<`, `>`, `:`, `"`, `\`, or line breaks.

### Details

* Optional.

## What happens after you submit

* Your request is saved and assigned a request ID.
* Your request is routed to the support team.
* You see a confirmation message in the interface.
* Support follows up to your account/request email (usual response target is 1 to 3 business days).

## What support needs from you

* Business sender email address.
* Sender name.
* DNS provider name (for example Cloudflare, GoDaddy, cPanel).
* Person who can apply DNS changes.
* Target launch date (if you have one).

## Validate the setup after support confirms completion

* Click the [**Quoting**](https://app.remapdb.com/widget/quoting) item in the main navigation and confirm **Send auto-reply email** is turned on.
* Submit one real test quote from a live page where your widget is installed.
* Open the received auto-reply and confirm the sender address and sender name are correct.
* Reply to the message and confirm the reply reaches your quote inbox.
