- Click the Settings item in the Widget section of the main navigation.
- Go to the Language section.
What each setting means
Default language
This is the main language your widget uses. Use this when you want one consistent language for most visitors.Detect automatically
When this is enabled, Remapdb tries to show the widget in each visitor’s browser language. Simple example:- Your default language is English.
- A visitor’s browser language is German.
- The widget opens in German if German is supported in your widget setup.
If your plan does not include automatic detection, the Detect automatically toggle is unavailable.
How Remapdb chooses the language
- If Detect automatically is enabled, Remapdb tries the visitor browser language.
- If browser language is within the supported languages, Remapdb uses it.
- If not, Remapdb uses your Default language.
Step-by-step setup
- In Default language, choose the language you want as your baseline.
- In Detect automatically, enable or disable the toggle based on your preference.
- Wait for save confirmation.
- Open the live page and test once.
Quick testing checklist
- Open the live widget page and confirm text appears in your expected default language.
- If Detect automatically is enabled, test with a browser that uses a different language.
Common mistakes
- Testing only in preview instead of a live embedded page.
- You test with a browser language that is not supported.
