How charges and timing work for paid-plan changes
| Change type | What happens |
|---|---|
| Move to a higher-cost paid plan | The change is immediate. Remapdb calculates proration for the remaining time in your current period and charges the shown amount now. |
| Move to a lower-cost paid plan | The change is scheduled for your current billing period end. You keep your current plan until that date. |
| Downgrade from paid plan to Free | The downgrade is scheduled for your current billing period end. |
| Change billing cycle from Monthly to Yearly | The change is immediate. Billing date resets to today and proration is applied in the confirmation amount. |
| Change billing cycle from Yearly to Monthly | The change is scheduled for your current billing period end. |
Changing to a lower plan or to Free does not erase your paid-feature setup. Remapdb keeps those settings saved, and they become available again if you upgrade later.
When change is blocked by scheduled change
If you already have a scheduled change (including scheduled downgrade), Remapdb blocks a new change until the existing schedule is removed.- Open Settings > Billing.
- Click the Cancel scheduled change button.
- Confirm the release action.
- Click the Update subscription button again.
- Repeat the plan change flow.
This guard prevents conflicting future billing instructions on the same subscription.
