Before you share temporary credentials

Before asking for WordPress help, make sure your website is already added in Remapdb:
If this is missing, the widget can fail to load even when plugin setup is correct.

Create a temporary WordPress admin user

1

Open Users in WordPress

In WordPress admin, open Users from the main navigation.
2

Click Add user

Click the Add user button near the top of the page.
3

Fill user details

Complete the fields:
  • Username
  • Email
  • Password (use Generate password)
4

Set role to Administrator

In the Role dropdown, choose Administrator.
5

Create the user

Click the Add User button.

Send this information to Remapdb support

Share these details through official Remapdb support channels:
  1. Website URL where you want the widget to appear.
  2. Temporary WordPress username.
  3. Temporary WordPress password.
Support channels:
  1. Email support.
  2. Live chat (if included in your current plan).

Important: what you should do yourself

The WordPress plugin installation flow is straightforward and is best done by you, because during setup you must enter your own Remapdb username and password.
Security notice: Remapdb support will never ask for your personal Remapdb login credentials (email and password). Never share your personal account login details with anyone.
Remapdb support can help with:
  1. Installing the plugin on your WordPress website.
  2. Troubleshooting connection issues with the Remapdb app.
  3. Reviewing screenshots and guiding you step by step.

After support completes the work

For security, remove temporary access immediately:
  1. Open Users.
  2. Select the temporary user with the checkbox.
  3. In Bulk actions, choose Delete.
  4. Click Apply.
If you prefer to keep the user for a short time, change the password right away and remove access later.
Never share your main owner/admin credentials. Always use a temporary user and remove it after support is done.
