If your current plan does not include API access, credential controls in the API page stay disabled. API access also covers MCP-based AI tool setup through AI Integrations.
For plan details, open Billing. For feature comparison, open Feature availability by plan.

How to unlock API access

Open API settings

Click the API item in the main navigation.

Start upgrade flow

If API controls are locked, click the Upgrade plan button shown on the page.

Choose an API-enabled plan

In billing, select API or MAX and complete the subscription change.

Return and verify

Go back to the API page and confirm credentials are now enabled.
You can also open billing directly:
  • Click your name at the bottom of the main navigation.
  • Click the Billing item.

What to verify after upgrade

  • API key and API secret are visible.
  • Copy buttons are enabled.
  • Generate new credentials button is enabled.
  • MCP-based AI tool setup can authenticate with REMAPDB_API_KEY, if you use AI Integrations.
  • A staging test request succeeds.

If access is still locked

  • Refresh the page after the subscription update.
  • Confirm you are in the correct Remapdb account.
  • Confirm subscription status is active in billing.
  • Contact support if access is still blocked after these checks.
