Use this page to control the automatic email sent to visitors after they submit a quote, and how sender details are shown. Click the Quoting item in the main navigation, then open the Automation section.

Step 1: Turn on auto-reply

In Automation:
  1. Turn on the Send auto-reply email switch.

Step 2: Set the email subject

  1. In Email subject, enter your subject line.
  2. Click the Save button.

Step 3: Set the email template

  1. In Email template, write your message.
  2. Add variables where you want dynamic values.
  3. Click the Save button.
Supported variables:
  • {{name}} — visitor name.
  • {{vehicle_brand}} — selected brand.
  • {{vehicle_model}} — selected model.
  • {{vehicle_generation}} — selected generation.
  • {{vehicle_engine}} — selected engine.
  • {{contact_email}} — your quote recipient email from Email to receive quotes.
Pricing variables (only when pricing is enabled and available on your plan):
  • {{price_breakdown}}
  • {{total_price}}

Step 4: Set sender name

  1. In From name, enter the name you want people to see.
  2. Click the Save button.
The Send from value is shown as read-only in the standard setup.

Step 5: Test end-to-end

1

Open a live page where your widget is installed.

2

Submit a test quote with a real inbox you can access.

3

Check team inbox delivery.

4

Check dealer inbox delivery (if dealer routing is enabled).

5

Check customer auto-reply delivery.

6

Confirm template variables are replaced correctly.

What happens after a quote is submitted

A successful quote can trigger up to three emails:
  • Quote email to your team mailbox (set in Email to receive quotes).
  • Quote email to the selected dealer (if dealer routing is enabled and a dealer is selected).
  • Auto-reply email to the visitor (if Send auto-reply email is turned on).

Who receives what, and where replies go

Team quote email

  • Sent to your Email to receive quotes address.
  • If your team replies to this email, the reply goes to the visitor email from the form.

Dealer quote email

  • Sent to the selected dealer email (when dealer routing is active).
  • If the dealer replies, the reply goes to the visitor email from the form.

Customer auto-reply email

  • Sent to the visitor who submitted the quote.
  • If the visitor replies, the reply goes to your Email to receive quotes address.
This keeps quote conversations in your sales/support inbox.

Use your own sender domain

If you want to send from your own domain:
  1. Click the Help me use my domain button in Automation.
  2. Follow the Remapdb support setup process.
  3. Complete domain verification and sender setup with support.
Custom sender domain setup depends on your plan and feature access.

Reset buttons

If needed, you can restore defaults:
  • Click the reset icon next to Email subject to restore the default subject.
  • Click the reset icon next to Email template to restore the default template.

How this works with pricing

  • If pricing is enabled, pricing details can be included in customer auto-replies.
  • If pricing is disabled, quote automation still works, but pricing details are not included.

Example template

Hi {{name}},

Thank you for your quote request for:
{{vehicle_brand}} {{vehicle_model}} {{vehicle_generation}} - {{vehicle_engine}}.

Our team will review your request and contact you shortly.
If you have questions, contact us at {{contact_email}}.

Good practices

  • Keep From name stable so customers recognize your messages.
  • Use the same sender name across all quote emails.
  • After changes, submit a real test quote and check inbox and spam folders.
Auto-reply availability and pricing variables depend on your plan and feature access.
